Woodkids Forest School offers outdoor playgroups and nature activities for children in Kilkenny. Through games, crafts and free play in the woods, we instil love and knowledge of nature from an early age.

Our programs support children’s development of physical, social and communication skills as well as confidence and wellbeing. Participants have the opportunity to be creative, do messy play and expand their energy in an environment where risks are managed to suit their age and ability. Research shows that regularly spending time in nature is calming and reduces stress. Simply put, it is one of the best ways to nourish physical and mental health in the long term !

Sessions are facilitated by an experienced and qualified Forest School Leader. Woodkids Forest School is a member of the Irish Forest School Association.
