Derrynane House & Gardens
Description
Derrynane House and gardens has something for all the family. As the ancestral home of Daniel O’Connell it provides an interesting historical experience for parents and older children. The garden walks and fairy trail keep younger family members entertained. There’s an on-site cafe and beautiful beaches nearby making this a great option for a family day out.
On a wet day a tour of the house would be a good option to escape the rain.
The Grounds of Derrynane House are free to roam around. This an OPW site – the first Wednesday of every month is free at selected OPW sites. See Heritage Ireland for details.
