The playground here is one of the best we’ve  visited. It’s €5 per child (as at 2024) but worth it. You may be able to offset the cost of the playground against parking so it balances out.
The tree top walk is all enclosed and safe with toddlers (mine did a legger but luckily made it out safely the other side). Beautiful views across the lake. There are tunnels and a tower within the tree top walk area which are great for exploring.
Camp Site also an option.
Keep an eye out for seasonal events including
- the popular family friendly Music Festival ‘Night & Day’ in June annually
- Lough SpooKey outdoor & indoor Halloween displays.
We visit here often when in the North West and look forward to the kids being old enough to try out Zip It and Boda Borg. A must see!
