Dinis Cottage Tearooms located in Killarney National Park at the meeting of the waters is a great addition to any family day in Killarney.
The setting is beautiful and just a short toddler-friendly walk from cottage to the Meeting of the Waters with a selection of treats available to purchase on site.
GETTING HERE:
You can get to Dinis cottage on foot, bike or boat or by a combination of these (e.g walk / cycle one way andboat trip back).
🛳 Boats run from Dundag (Muckross House) to Dinis approx every half hour 7 days a week and also take bikes or buggies
🛳 Boats also run from Ross Castle but are not as frequent and would need to be booked in advance
🚗N71 Dinis carpark is a 1.7km walk to the Cottage.
🚶♀️Muckross House is circa 5.1km walk/cycle to the Cottage. Beautiful route (but only one way cycling allowed from Muckross to Dinis)
We got a boat out to Dinis from Dundag Pier in Summer 2022 with a 1 & 3 year old and it has gone down as one of the best days of the Summer.
