Derreen Gardens
Description
Walk through the tranquil gardens and keep a look out for sika deer, red squirrels, Irish hares, and closer to the shore seals and otters swimming in the harbour.
While in the gardens, if you look carefully you might spot some Derreeny House. Derreenies are about 2 inches tall. Rarer than fairies and unique to the Derreen Estate there are 20 very small houses to discover in the gardens.
There is also an on site café serving coffee, fresh food and homemade cakes.
