Christmas in Kilgarvan

Description

Saturday 14th December 2024 at 7.00pm:
Christmas in Kilgarvan – where nobody’s naughty and everyone’s nice!

The grand tradition of turning on the Christmas lights will draw families and friends from near and far to the heart of Kilgarvan. The sound of carols fills the air, and the scent of hot chocolate, mulled wine and mince pies mixes with the crisp winter breeze.

For the children of Kilgarvan, there’s another, even more thrilling tradition that takes place on this night—Santa Claus himself arrives. The sound of jingle bells fills the air, and before anyone knows it, the man in the red suit is there, riding in on his sleigh. Santa waves to the crowd, his eyes twinkling behind his glasses as he smiles at the eager faces of the children. The little ones, dressed in their warm coats and hats, gather around with wide eyes, Some are shy, while others eagerly tell Santa their names and what they’re hoping for this Christmas. Then, one by one, Santa reaches into his big sack and hands out presents to the children—small toys, books, and treats, all wrapped in bright paper, Each gift is met with laughter and squeals of joy, and the magic of the moment is felt by all.
