Based in Tralee, Siamsa Tire is the Home to National folk theatre of Ireland - hosting touring drama, classical music, comedy, dance and opera along with productions by local groups and musical societies. Family Shark Show
An underwater adventure for the whole family as we bring to life, the story behind the Baby Shark song. Venture into the deep blue sea and join Baby on the adventure of a life-time! A live interactive show at Siamsa Tíre Theatre Tralee, Co. Kerry. 19th Aug 2023 @2pm-3:30pm. Adult €16, Child €13 +€1.50 booking fee. Family of 4 €46 +€4 booking fee.
That’s Entertainment
Tralee Musical Society returns to Siamsa Tíre, Tralee this October with a entertainment filled Variety Show. Filled with music, dance, comedy and an abundance of local talent. Suitable for all the family. 10th-14th Oct 2023 @8pm. €21/€19.
Humans: A Robot Musical!
A big-hearted – and funny! – story about loss, friendship and hope, that features humanoid robots, one quite robotic human and catchy original songs. A great class trip for students 8yrs+ and their teachers. Brought to you by Graffiti Theatre Company. 17th Oct 2023 @10am & 12pm.
I am BABA
I AM BABA is a magical adventure of song, lights and textures for babies aged 0-12 months and their guardians. 28th Oct 2023 @10am, 11am & 12pm. Duration: 20mins plus up to 20mins free play time afterwards. Tickets: €10 (1 adult & 1 baby) +Booking fee. *Limited availability therefore early booking is advised.
Encanto Sing-Along
Our Bank Holiday Movie for All the Family. Have fun singing along to favourites such as ‘We don’t talk about Bruno’! 29th Oct 2023 @2:30 – 4:12pm. Adult €9, Child €7.50. Movie Snack Packs only €5! Suitability: Ages 5yrs+
Halloween Puppet Making
Presented by puppeteer and puppet Maker, Alex Hindmarsh. Participants will learn how to create their very own Halloween themed puppet. Vampires, Witches, Zombies and Ghouls, the only limit is your imagination! All materials supplied. 29th Oct 2023 @10:30am & 12pm at Siamsa Tíre Theatre, Tralee. €10.
Halloween Workshops
The National Folk Theatre are running this super spooky and fun-filled workshop where children can don their favourite Halloween costumes & learn all about Celtic Halloween characters while they sing & play some traditional games.There's even a fun drumming playshop with Drum Dance Ireland! 30th Oct 2023 @11am at Siamsa Tíre Theatre, Tralee. €20. 7-12yrs
Cinderella
The Academy of Dance are delighted to return to Siamsa Tire Theatre, Tralee with their latest production Cinderella. A great way to kick off the festive season with spectacular performances not to be missed. 1st-2nd Dec 2023 @6pm. Suitable for all the family.
Beauty and the Beast
Tralee’s favourite traditional family Panto is back. Oh yes, it is! Be our guest for a tale as old as pantomime with Beauty and the Beast. Featuring the usual zany gang bringing you non-stop Panto fun, it is directed by the zaniest of them all, Oliver Hurley. Suitable for all the family! 28/29/30 Dec 2023 and 2/3 Jan 2024. Performances at 2:30pm & 7pm.
